Eternals: Kro Voice Actor Finally Revealed

Eternals is finally out in theaters and that means most of our questions have been answered. For instance, who is the voice actor behind the Deviants general Kro? The identity behind the gravelly yet eerily familiar voice has now been revealed. Interestingly, Kro is actually portrayed by someone who had previously terrified audiences in a highly successful horror franchise. SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

In Eternals, Kro is the reason why Sersi, Sprite and Ikaris are reunited after 500 years. However, he also kills Gilgamesh and absorbs his powers. It is then that we hear Kro's voice as he faces off against Thena.

But who provides the voice of Kro? Although there were previous theories that it was Legion star Dan Stevens, it has since been revealed that the Deviant was played by IT: Chapter One and Two actor Bill Skarsgaard.

We already know Skarsgaard for his role in Hemlock Grove but he is best known for playing the new Pennywise in Andy Muschietti's adaptations of Stephen King's novel.

It's great to know that Skarsgaard has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe but is it possible that he will return in the future? For now, the Deviant has been properly defeated by Thena so it's unlikely. Nevertheless, we're loving the idea that Skarsgaard is part of the MCU.

Eternals also featured an unexpected voice at the end of the film. In the post-credits scene, Dane Whitman is shown discovering Ebony Blade. Just as he is about to touch the legendary sword, he hears a voice behind him asking, "Sure you're ready for this, Mr. Whitman?"

That voice is none other than Blade, who is portrayed by Mahershala Ali. Eric Brooks' voice cameo was a great treat for fans who have been looking forward to the Daywalker's standalone film. In addition to that, it's a tease at a possible collaboration between Black Knight and Blade.

Eternals is now screening in theaters.
