If you were one of the millions of fans who decided to watch Eternals today, you were probably blown away by the post-credits scene that hyped up something truly big. Not surprisingly, Kit Harington is also excited about what the sequence has teased. After all, it means a huge collaboration for Black Knight could finally be happening. WATCH OUT! SPOILERS AHEAD!

In the Eternals post-credits scene, Kit Harington's Dane Whitman is shown looking through his ancestors' belongings. He finds an old chest containing Ebony Blade and just as he realizes it is the legendary sword, he hears a voice behind him asking, "Sure you're ready for that, Mr. Whitman?"

It was previously confirmed by Eternals director Chloe Zhao that the voice addressing Dane is none other than Blade himself. Although the cameo was a surprise for most, comic book readers saw it coming considering that Eric Brooks was one character who helped Dane become Black Knight.

So does this mean Black Knight will be teaming up with Blade in an MCU project? Harington told Fandom that he is expecting to return as Dane in the future. However, he didn't specify whether that future included a collaboration with the Daywalker.

“I came into this knowing that there would be, hopefully, some cool possibilities for the future and also looking at the character and responding to the character as I saw it on every level, in every platform,” Harington said. “So yeah, this is a great intro into the Marvel world and I’m just very happy that this movie is the one that I got to do it in.”

It's awesome to know that Harington is ready to return as Black Knight in the MCU. It is also exciting to think about the possibility that Dane's next appearance could be in the Blade reboot with Mahershala Ali. However, it is important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

Harington plays Dane Whitman aka Black Knight in Eternals, which is now screening in theaters.
