It's almost time for Sherlock Holmes' little sister to go on another adventure! Enola Holmes 2 is set to premiere on Netflix later this year and Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown will be returning as the youngest Holmes!
We already know that Enola Holmes 2 is happening and that the film was in production in late 2021. Luckily, it looks like the highly anticipated sequel is close to getting a release date. The official Netflix UK Twitter account has confirmed that the second Enola Holmes flick is coming in late 2022.
This is great news considering that it has been almost two years since the premiere of the first film. For now, the sequel has not yet been given an official release date but we're expecting an update from the streaming service in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
Enola Holmes 2 will also bring back Louis Partridge as Viscount Tewkesbury, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, and Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes. The new film is set to add Adeel Akhtar, Susie Wokoma, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, David Thewlis, Gabriel Tierney, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, and Serranna Su-Ling Bliss.
The premise of the new movie has not yet been revealed. However, there's a good chance we'll get some information on the story when the first teaser for Enola Holmes 2 is released.
Millie Bobby Brown is certainly on a roll right now. She has just returned as Eleven in Stranger Things Season 4 which turned out to be a huge hit for Netflix. Her next project is Damsel, another fantasy film for the streaming service which is set to premiere sometime in 2023. Brown is then expected to shoot for the final season of Stranger Things.
Enola Holmes 2 will premiere on Netflix later in 2022.
