Enola Holmes is coming back to Netflix! The sequel was expected as the 2020 mystery film based on the same name by Nancy Springer was a hit on the streaming giant when it was released.
For those eagerly waiting for Millie Bobby Brown's return as Enola Holmes for the second time, here are the things that you need to know.
Enola Holmes 2 Trailer: Is There Already A Trailer Available?
Enola Holmes 2 has been confirmed but there is no update about the production yet. So, Netflix hasn't released an official trailer for the upcoming sequel. However, it shared a teaser on Twitter when it confirmed the sequel.

There is no doubt that Enola Holmes is coming back. However, as of this time, the production has yet to start.
Initially, the production is expected to start later this year, in September. However, a report from The Knowledge and the Hull Live revealed that the set of the sequel would occur outside of a production facility on Hull's high street in the first week of October.
The outlet noted that the high street in Hull will be "transformed into Victorian London" on Oct. 5 and Oct. 6. The report also teased that the locals have the chance to appear in the movie as extras.
"The production company has also said that they are recruiting for extras to appear as passers-by dressed in Victorian dress to appear in the film, and will be putting up ads for recruitment soon," the outlet added.
More likely, Enola Holmes 2 will be released next year, probably in September 2020, Digital Spy reported.
Enola Holmes 2 Plot: What To Expect In The Upcoming Episodes
The first movie ended with Enola looking into the camera and giving a monologue about her finding her "own path."
Director Harry Bradbeer told Decider that the audience can expect a lot of tension among the family members.
"If we do go again, there's a lot of issues left in this dysfunctional family. Not only in the country, which is dysfunctional, but the family as well," Bradbeer said.
The upcoming movie may also include The Case of the Left-Handed Lady which features Enola trying to find Lady Cecily Allistair and Sherlock's companion Dr. John Watson.
Enola Holmes 2: Who Will Return And Who Are The Newcomers?
At present, only two cast members have been confirmed to return Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill as Enola Holmes and Sherlock Holmes, respectively. There is no word yet about Sam Clafin reprising his role as Mycroft Holmes.
Even before the announcement of Enola Holmes 2, Brown, who also produced the film, already hinted that they are open to having a sequel.
"There's more of the story to be told. The story isn't over yet. She isn't grown up, there's no conclusion. I think she'll forever be someone who is always evolving, but there's definitely more to be shown on screen," she told Deadline in September 2020.
After Netflix confirmed Enola Holmes 2, Brown expressed her excitement to work again with the cast and crew members of the film.
"I can't wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart – she's strong, fearless, intelligent and brave," she told Deadline in May. "I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!"
