Empire Strikes Back Anthology May Confirm Wild Mandalorian Fan Theory

Star Wars fans were devastated when Kuill (Nick Nolte) was killed towards the end of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. The Ugnuaght who had worked a lifetime to be free of servitude was instrumental in Din Djarin's missions, first, to obtain the Child for the Client, and then, to save Baby Yoda from the hands of the enemy.

While it seems unlikely that Star Wars fans are going to see The Mandalorian raise Kuill from the dead in its second batch of episodes, there's a new fan theory suggesting that fans may get to see the character in one of the stories featured in The Empire Strikes Back anthology, From A Certain Point of View.

Last weekend, Lucasfilm announced the release of a tie-in anthology called From A Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back, a book celebrating forty-years of Episode V. Featuring forty different stories from forty different authors, the book adds color to the classic sequel through the eyes of characters in the background of the film.

According to Inverse, one of the stories in From A Certain Point of View is going to explore what the Ugnaught clans were doing while Han, Leia, and Chewie made their visit to cloud city.

The synopsis of the story reads:

"Martha Wells reveals the world of the Ugnaught clans who dwell in the depths of Cloud City."

This opens up room for Kuill's appearance. There's been a popular fan theory going around saying that Kuill had been in Cloud City during the events of The Empire Strikes Back. In fact, the theory suggests that the Ugnuaght had helped freeze Han in carbonite as well.

Could we learn more about Kuill in this new Star Wars anthology? Let's cross our fingers and wait and see.
