Emily Vancamp Talks About Whether Sharon Carter Pops Up In Avengers: Infinity War

Being one of the most highly anticipated Marvel mash-up movies, fans not only expect to see the core heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled Avengers sequel, they expect the franchise's various supporting characters make their way to the two-part movie as well.

So far there have been a lot of rumors that Haley Atwell's Peggy Carter might be popping up in Avengers: Infinity War and though Emily VanCamp's been playing coy about whether Peggy's granddaughter Sharon might make an appearance, it's likely that we might get to see her in the film as well.

Speaking in an interview with Deadline, VanCamp was asked whether Sharon Carter would be making a cameo in Infinity War and though the Marvel star tries to remain vague about her participation, it sounds like there's a chance she'll be there.

"No idea." VanCamp answered. "With Marvel, they can give you a call the day before you shoot. You don't know what's going on with their movies because they're very secretive."

Playing the role of a side character, we find it quite strange how VanCamp remains secretive about her participation in Infinity War. After all, the core Marvel stars confirmed their involvement in the project months ahead of production. Could VanCamp be part of Infinity War's twist? Let's wait and see.

Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas May 4, 2018. It's untitled sequel premieres on May 3, 2019.
