Emergency Declaration Unveils Hair-Raising Posters
Emergency Declaration is an upcoming 2022 film that follows the stories of people in a flight whose lives have been bombarded with terrorist threats. Originally, it premiered at the 74th Cannes Film Festival in July 2021 and was selected for the Out of Competition section.
On July 4, the film shared new posters of the characters (reposted by Naver) as they dealt with the safety issues in the country.
In Song Kang Ho’s poster, the legendary actor plays the role of veteran detective In Ho, who investigates the threats. He aims to stop the disaster from worsening, but he finds himself in the middle of a heated fight.
His poster contains the text, “Hold out for just a bit because we’re dealing with it here.”
Lee Byung Hoon is the protective father, Jae Hyuk, who holds his daughter while looking around to learn about the situation. The caption says, “What’s going on right now?”
Meanwhile, Jeon Do Yeon stars as Sook Hee. The character works at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transportation. She seemingly talks to the pilot as she states, “No matter what, we have to make them land.”
Kim Nam Gil, meanwhile, is the pilot in the movie. His character, Hyun Soo, is the first officer of duty who looks at the board while thinking, “I hope you will open the airstrip.”
On the other hand, Im Siwan plays the role of mysterious plane passenger Jin Seok. Despite the calamity, he looks calm while the text beside him reads, “Which plane here has a lot of passengers?”
The next poster shows Kim So Jin’s Hee Jin, a flight attendant who tries to keep her composure and calms the passengers.
Lastly, Park Hae Joon portrays the role of the government’s crisis management center, Tae Soo. He plays a huge role as the passengers’ lives depend on his decision.
Emergency Declaration will premiere on August 3.
