Marvel Netflix has been having a fantastic run with its heroes, and everyone is eagerly waiting for the arrival of The Defenders. Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra on the show, has posted a snapshot of herself to commemorate the start of the press tour for the show.
With that in mind, we should expect more news on The Defenders to come out really soon. The teasers and the trailer have been doing really well online, and a lot of people are excited to see how Netlfix is going to present their "Street Level Avengers."
With Yung's involvement, you can bet your ass that Elektra will be resurrected in the show. Last we saw her in Daredevil season 2, the hand had seized her corpse and put her in a sort of rebirth chamber. The only thing I'm curious about is whether she'll still be herself, or will she be a mindless killing machine—that's how these rebirth stories usually go.
If you look closely at one of the trailers, we even see a figure behind the Defenders that could be Yung's Elektra. With her place in the room, could she be on their side? Maybe she's going to attack them from behind? WHERE IS THE PUNISHER??
The Defenders is set for a release on Aug. 18, only on Netflix.
