Edgar Wright Reveals His Star Wars: The Last Jedi Cameo

Edgar Wright has had one hell of a year. The release of his movie Baby Driver was a huge success, making him one of the most talked-about directors of 2017, and now he's revealed that he has gotten a cameo in Rian Johnson's upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Check it out:

A lot of celebrities are already expected to make cameos in the film besides Wright. Tom Hardy is said to be playing a stormtrooper in one scene, as well as Princes William and Harry. Granted there's probably a lot more, but we'll probably get the reveals after The Last Jedi is released.

It's also worth noting that Wright's frequent collaborator Simon Pegg was in The Force Awakens. He played Jakku junker Unkar Plutt, the fat alien who trades food for parts. We never got to see Pegg's face in the movie, but it was still a cool cameo considering that he worked with director J.J. Abrams in the Star Trek reboot.

With Wright's inclusion in the film, I'm curious on whether Lucasfilm would be willing to give him a shot to direct one Star Wars movie. Sure his movies have their own flare to it, but it may be what I would want to see in a bounty hunter ensemble film. Make it happen, Kathleen Kennedy!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out Dec. 15.
