EA Lowers The RAM Requirements For Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

It looks like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order won't be taking as much space as initially expected.

Yesterday, EA posted the system requirements for Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order up on Origin and the list revealed that the game needed some pretty high-end specs to run. The original post announced that gamers needed 32GB of RAM for the highly anticipated Star Wars action-adventure game – a whopping weight in comparison to other AA games.

Borderlands 3, Control, Division 2, Breakpoint, Ghost Recon, and Gears 5 are all pretty great games that require only 16GB of RAM on a gamer's unit. That's half of what one would need for Fallen Order.

Luckily, it seems like EA has managed to update the requirements, reducing the need for 32GB of RAM to 16GB.

Here are the updated system requirements for the game.

The Peter Serafinowicz (minimum):

OS: 64-bit Windows 7/8.1/10

Processor (AMD): FX-6100 or Equivalent

Processor (Intel): i3-3220 or Equivalent

Memory: 8 GB

Graphics card (AMD): Radeon HD 7750 or Equivalent

Graphics card (NVIDIA): GeForce GTX 650 or Equivalent

DirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalent

Hard-drive space: 55 GB

The James Earl Jones (recommended):

Processor (Intel): i7-6700K or Equivalent

Memory: 32 GB

Graphics card (AMD): RX Vega 56 or Equivalent

Graphics card (NVIDIA): GTX 1070 or Equivalent

DirectX: 11 Compatible video card or equivalent

Hard-drive space: 55 GB

This is pretty good news for gamers out there. This means that the Fallen Order is going to be more accessible to gamers with less space on their units. Right now we're not really sure why the change was made by EA, but we'll let fans know when we find updates on the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release on November 15, 2019.
