Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson And Busted’s Charlie Simpson Go On A Twitter War Over Jumanji

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle might have been a big hit around the globe, but it seems like not everyone enjoyed Sony's sequel to the 1995 fantasy adventure film starring Robin Williams.

Pop-rock musician and singer-songwriter Charlie Simpson had some pretty harsh words for the Jumanji reboot, calling the film the "second worst film ever made" after Welcome to the Jungle star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced a sequel to the film on Twitter. The comment soon ensued a Twitter war between the action star and the musician.

Johnson soon noticed the comment and decided to challenge the youngest member of Busted, telling Simpson that he should watch Welcome to the Jungle with them, give out his thoughts and then "we listen to your music and we'll tell you ours. You know, face to face like real mean do instead of yapping on Twitter."

However, when Simpson was pointed out that he was having a "Buster vs The Rock Twitter War", the musician was quick to correct everyone, saying that he doesn't "do Twitter ‘beef'" and that he actually really thinks that The Rock "seems like a really rad dude" even if he didn't quite enjoy Welcome to the Jungle.

Of course, we all have our different opinions, and we can't just please everyone. Still, it's great to see that Simpson still gave The Rock some credit even if he didn't like Welcome to the Jungle.

The sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle premieres on December 13, 2019.
