Dune Star Rebecca Ferguson Teases Reshoots Taking Place in Budapest 'Soon'

It looks like the cast and crew of Dune are already preparing for the huge reshoots before the film's premiere. Rebecca Ferguson has just confirmed that she is getting ready to fly to Budapest to film new scenes for the highly anticipated reboot of Frank Herbert's novels.

Ferguson teased on the reshoots in a new Instagram post that also showed an amazing poster of the book. Check it out below.

"@dunemovie heading back to Budapest soon:Ish for some additional shots, can't wait to see everyone and get back under that hood!" Ferguson wrote.

There is little doubt that fans have been concerned about the reshoots considering that it could mean that the movie will not be ready in time for its December premiere. In addition to that, people were worried about the safety of the cast and crew if they would go back to work amidst the COVID-19 scare. Hopefully, everyone will be practicing the proper safety protocols to complete the project without any hitch.

Dune is directed by Denis Villeneuve and also stars Timothee Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Chang Chen, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem. The film will reportedly adapt the only the first part of the book and a sequel will follow the latter half of the novel.

Are you ready to visit Arrakis? Dune is scheduled for release on December 18.
