Warcraft director Duncan Jones had said earlier this month that he was working on a comic book movie, and based on some vague reveals, some have been guessing that he was talking about adapting Rogue Trooper. Good news is, Jones has definitely confirmed that Rogue Trooper is the movie that he is currently working on.

Rogue Trooper comes from 2000 AD, the same publishing house that brought us Dredd; and the story focuses on a supersoldier named Rogue as he fights a war on Nu-Earth between the Norts and the Southers.
I'll admit, this is one obscure comic for me, but a lot of people online have expressed their excitement for the film already. Add to that the box office draw of a comic book movie, and we could be looking at another million-dollar franchise.
For now, it looks like Rogue Trooper is still in very early stages of production, so I wouldn't expect any solid updates until the next year. With Warcraft coming out to be a commercial disappointment, I hope that Jones manages to get himself back on his feet with Rogue Trooper.
No release date has been set for Rogue Trooper.
