Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Gets More DLC Characters: Android 13 And Tapion

Fans that thought Super Buu (Gohan absorbed) and Dabura were the last DLC characters for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 were wrong. The latest issue of V-Jump (via Ryokuta 2089) revealed that two characters from the Dragon Ball movies would be making their way to the game. Fans can now expect Android 13 and Tapion to join the roster.

Android 13 comes from the anime movie Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13. He is one of the backup Androids Dr. Gero made in case Androids 17 and 18 killed him. The character is joined by Androids 14 and 15, as they attempt to kill the Z-Warriors. Trunks and Vegeta later kill 14 and 15, with 13 absorbing their parts and becoming Super Android 13. It's not clear if he will have a transformation or if he will only be in his base form.

Tapion comes from Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon. Unlike most characters from these films, Tapion is a hero who is forced to keep a monster called Hirudegarn in his body via a Music Box. He should be one of the more interesting characters to use in the game, thanks to his slick character design and sword.

Bandai Namco is also giving players some free DLC with the Hero Coliseum. It will add some more story to the game and will let players enact battles with figures, whatever that means. Still, free story DLC should give fans some incentive to stick with the game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. No release date for these characters, or Buu and Dabura, has been revealed, though they will be paid DLC.
