Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Teases The Return of Vegeta's Fan-Favorite Look

Toei Animation recently released the first trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the next feature film for Akira Toriyama's popular shonen franchise, and while the trailer doesn't reveal a lot of spoilers, it did share some interesting details we can expect from the highly-anticipated movie. One of the coolest detail we spotted in the trailer is the return of Vegeta's fan-favorite look .

At one point in the trailer the new characters Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are shown looking at Goku, Vegeta, and Buu as part of a huge display, and based on the look in the profile photos, it looks like they are being painted as major villains. The most interesting part here is Vegeta sporting his pink "Badman" shirt.

However, we might not actually see the real Vegeta wear this shirt in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero since this lines up to the fact that Goku and Buu are also being painted as evil villains. This also doesn't match up to the SG figure for Vegeta that was revealed at NYCC, so it's likely that the Red Ribbon Army was able to acquire this look to antagonize the Saiyan Prince, Goku, and Buu. It's likely that Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 will go after these three characters, but fans are speculating that the story will focus more on Gohan's.

The trailer also revealed Pan training as a Saiyan, and the return of Broly and the Red Ribbon Army. It looks like the anime film will have more surprises not shown in the trailer.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Broly is set to release in Japanese theaters in 2022, but Toei Animation nor Funimation haven't confirmed a U.S. release date yet. For more details about the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie, check out everything you need to know here.
