Dragon Ball Super Will Have Special Exhibition at New York Comic Con 2022

Dragon Ball Super is trending high this year, thanks to the release of the shonen franchise's latest movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and the big surprises of the conclusion of the manga's Granolah the Survivor Saga. While the manga series by Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou is still in hiatus as they prepare for the next arc, fans are expected to hear updates, and the good news is that Dragon Ball Super will take center stage with a special exhibition at New York Comic Con.

According to the official Dragon Ball website, the special exhibition will take place at New York Comic Con at the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center starting October 6.

The update announced that Dragon Ball: The Breakers will be featured at the exhibition along the anime's official trading card game. Other titles such as Dragon Ball Legends will also be featured, and figure brands like Banpresto, Tamashii Nations, and more will be showcased. An event-exclusive Super Saiyan Broly S.H.Figuarts model will also be available for pre-order for $90 USD ahead of the show for pick-up.

Fans are wondering if the team behind Dragon Ball Super will make any major announcements about the next manga arc or if Toei Animation has any plans to revive the anime series for a new season. However, it's likely that major announcements for the shonen franchise will be saved for December as Jump Festa is just on the horizon. With the next manga chapter expected to release in October 2022, they might reveal a teaser for the next arc.
