Dragon Ball Super Just Showed A Way For Vegito's Return

Ever since Jiren defeated Goku in Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power, fans have been anticipating for a rematch between the two. After all, Goku hasn't been eliminated yet, and in the latest episode, we saw the exhausted Universe 7 warrior fight Universe 6's Kale and Caulifa. If you stuck around until the end of that episode, you would've seen a preview for the next episode in which the two Saiyans fuse using the Potara earring, the same kind of jewelry Goku and Vegeta used to transform into Vegito before.

You can watch the preview for the next episode below:

In Dragon Ball Z's Buu saga, we saw Goku and Vegita use the Potara earrings to combine their strengths so they can defeat Super Buu.

Just recently in Dragon Ball Super, we saw the pair fuse into Vegito again to fight a fused Zamasu. The fusion form was able to transform into Super Saiyan Blue but that wasn't enough to stop the villain because of the lack of stamina they had prior to the battle.

Zeno didn't mention any rules restricting the fusion technique from the Tournament of Power, so we might see Goku and Vegeta fuse once again to try to take down the overpowered Jiren. However, they would probably have to transform beyond Super Saiyan Blue to have a fighting chance. An Ultra Instinct Vegito would probably be powerful enough to stop Jiren but that seems too predictable. We'll just have to wait and see. After all, there's only a few minutes left before the Tournament of Power ends.

Dragon Ball Super is set to air on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami still airs the English dub of Dragon Ball Super on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
