Shueisha has released the latest manga chapters for Dragon Ball Super and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and their English versions are now available to read on VIz Media. While Dragon Ball Super takes us back to the present storyline after seeing the flashback of Bardock's battle against Gas of the Heeter Force 40 years ago in Planet Cereal, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations continues the intense conflict inside Konoha's lab, where Code and Eida have shown that Kara is a major threa.
Of course, shonen fans are hyped to read what comes next for both these popular series, so let's take a quick look at what Dragon Ball Super Chapter 84 and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 70 are about.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 84, titled A People's Pride, begins with Monaito, Goku, and Vegeta continuing to watch Bardock's memory after his battle with Gas. Goku's father returns home to see Gine and his son, and Goku and Vegeta realize what Saiyan pride is about. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 70, titled From the Bottom of My Heart, continues to show Eida's powerful abilities as Shikimaru communicates with Naruto and Amado in order to find a way out while Naruto, Boruto, and Sasuke are stuck outside the lab for their own protection. Eida uses her Senrigan ability to discover this, and Amado explains to Shikimaru how her clairvoyance works. Eida asks Code to retreat after finding out that Kawaki is coming, so they kidnap Amado and escape back to Kara's secret hideout. You can read more details about the latest Boruto chapter here.
It looks like Dragon Ball Super is at the climax of the Granolah the Survivor Arc, and many fans think that Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou are dragging the story too much. On the other hand, Boruto is getting more interesting as we see more of Eida's powers, and Code forcing Amado to rescind his limiters. It looks like we will soon find out if Amado is actually a villain, as the fan theories speculate.
