Dragon Ball Legends Has More New Characters Designed By Akira Toriyama

As fans wait for the Dragon Ball Super movie, there's a ton of Dragon Ball video games that can satisfy the need for some ki-blasting. Dragon Ball FighterZ is a phenomenal fighter that earns all of its praise, while Xenoverse 2 is a fun arena brawler that more casual players can enjoy. One game that has actually gotten many excited is the upcoming mobile game Dragon Ball Legends, with many assuming that the new movie villain will be appearing in it.

The villain, who will be yet another powerful Saiyan, was designed by series creator Akira Toriyama, which is cause for celebration. Those excited for the mobile game have even more to celebrate about since new characters designed by Toriyama have been revealed.

Joining the recently announced Saiyan Shallot are a supporting character called Zahha and a mysterious figure currently known as The Hooded Man. Expect this character to have some relevance later on, if hoods in the mass media are anything to go about.

However, as this Twitter user has pointed out, Hooded Man might just be Shallot. He has a similar face and the legs are a dead giveaway, so trying to market this character as a mystery is kind of sad. Kind of like how Masked Saiyan in Xenoverse 2 was so obviously Bardock that fans made jokes about how it was actually Goten since they wanted some kind of twist.

Dragon Ball Legends comes out this year for iOS and Android. Dragon Ball Super: The Movie will hit theaters on December 14.
