Dragon Ball Shares New Secrets About Frieza's Race

The most iconic villain in the history of Dragon Ball is Frieza, but fans of Akira Toriyama's shonen franchise still know little about his alien race. However, a recent issue of V-Jump shared some details on the species' background as well as how Frieza's father, King Cold, came to rule over the Saiyans.

We've already seen Frost, another member of Frieza's race who appeared in the Universe 6 Tournament Arc, and returned as a villain in the Tournament of Power where he briefly teamed-up with Frieza, but he was ultimately betrayed by him.

The latest issue of V-Jump shared new information about Frieza's race, but the species still doesn't have a name, with the magazine revealing details about how King Cold was able to make an empire separate from his own species, uniting various aliens under his leadership to help Frieza's family rule the universe.

Twitter user @Herms98 shared a look from the V-Jump issue:

Following his appearance in Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power and the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, Frieza has yet to return, but the Granolah The Survivor Arc has mentioned the villain several times, showing how significant his role is in the current arc of the popular manga. It's likely that he will return to the series soon enough.

Could he be involved in the "business" that Elec was talking about in the most recent chapter of Dragon Ball Super? The Heeter Force, the villainous space crime syndicate in the Granolah The Survivor Arc, are clearly after taking over Frieza's army, so expect Frieza to make a comeback soon.
