At long last, Bandai Namco has announced that the second season of Dragon Ball FighterZ is underway. The second FighterZ Pass, or FighterZ Pass 2, is now available to purchase and will contain six DLC characters, four of which were revealed in a trailer, though only two of them had actual gameplay footage.
Fans will be ecstatic to know that Jiren, Videl, Broly (Super), and Gogeta (SSGSS) will be a part of the second FighterZ pass. If that wasn't tantalizing enough, Jiren and Videl will be available by January 31, which is fantastic news for those that want to get back in the game.
Jiren is the mightiest opponent Goku has faced thus far, as the Pride Trooper was able to run roughshod around the Tournament of Power and kick a lot of butts. It took Goku and Frieza sacrificing themselves to eliminate Jiren from the tournament but not before the Universe 11 fighter left an impact.
Videl is the daughter of Mr. Satan and future wife of Gohan. The character is in her well-known attire from the Majin Buu saga and has a variety of close combat attacks. In addition to that, she can also summon the Great Saiyaman for help, making her similar to Android 18, who could summon 17 for extra attacks and extending combos.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
