The Dr. Stone anime is based on the manga of the same name authored by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi.

What Happens in Dr. Stone: New World Part 2?
Senku and his friends are on Treasure Island, and they manage to obtain the super rate item, platinum.
They quickly use the platinum to create nitric acid through scientific crafting and obtain the Elixir of Resurrection Infinite Production Machine.
Senku is eager to awaken the craftsman Kaseki. However, the companions from the petrified Kingdom of Science are thrown into the sea by Ibara and the others.
In the midst of all this, Senku teams up with Kohaku to rescue Ryusui and his friends.
