Don Cheadle Shares Exciting Update on Armor Wars

There are a lot of new Marvel Cinematic Universe shows currently in development but most fans are most excited about Armor Wars. After all, the series will deal with the possibility of Tony Stark's tech falling into the wrong hands.

But when can we expect any updates on the upcoming MCU show? Don Cheadle has just shared some exciting news about Armor Wars.

Armor Wars was previously confirmed during Disney Investor Day and Cheadle has been the only name attached to the project so far. However, the Falcon and The Winter Soldier star has stated that the show is in deep development and already set for production soon.

"It's gonna be interesting, y'know," Cheadle told AP Entertainment. "We are just talking about what that show's gonna be. We'll probably start filming sometime next year. We're just cracking the story right now, y'know, what that journey's going to look like, what's Rhodey's, y'know, that iteration of that going to be."

This sounds like a plausible update considering that Armor Wars was only announced last December. In addition to that, there are no other actors confirmed to appear in the show just yet. However, there is a possibility we'll be getting more updates in the next few months.

Armor Wars is only one of two MCU shows that will pay tribute to Iron Man. It was also confirmed that Ironheart will introduce Tony's protege Riri Williams. Moreover, Ironheart is expected to bring Tony back, albeit as an A.I. that helps Riri along the way. Needless to say, it looks like Tony's legacy will live on in these two amazing shows.

For now, Armor Wars has not yet been given an official production start date or a release date. However, the series is expected to start filming by 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
