A lot of Classroom of the Elite viewers ship Horikita and Ayanokoji as the two were the main protagonists of season one. It is still unclear if Ayanokoji does feel something romantic towards Horikita but does Horikita like Ayanokoji?

Suzune Horikita is an intelligent girl who rarely shows emotions. She does not believe that she needs friends and would rather be alone.
Most of the characters consider her distant and cold because she rarely communicates with them. The only person she truly interacts with is Ayanokoji.

As of this writing, there is still no hint that Horikita likes Ayanokoji. Her feelings towards him improved though, as she seems to consider him as a friend.
She starts to avoid doing things that could disappoint him. She even follows him when he asked her to join the Student Council.
It appeared that after what happened in season one, Horikita started to value Ayanokoji’s words and plans.
She knows that everything he does has a greater purpose and would sometimes wonder about the extent of his abilities. She also believes that he is hiding something from her.
Other than considering him as a friend, it seems like a part of Horikita wants Ayanokoji because her brother acknowledges him. She wants the same thing to happen to her too which is why she is trying so hard to be part of Class A.
Their relationship continued to progress as Horikita now wants to understand Ayanokoji better. She knows that she needs him to achieve her goal and to improve herself as well.
Their relationship continues to be platonic in the recent light novel chapters. Considering that Horikita has other goals and plans for herself, it doesn’t seem like romance is her priority in the series.
There is a chance for her to develop feelings for Ayanokoji, but that possibility is slim as of the latest update in the light novel.
