Doctor Who Unleashes Animated Dalek Spin-Off for Time Lord Victorious Event

Forget "exterminate", it's time to "animate"! The epic crossover event Doctor Who Time Lord Victorious has just announced its final installment and it's all about Daleks!

BBC Studios confirmed the new animated series titled Daleks! as part of the ongoing Doctor Who Time Lord Victorious event. The five-part show will feature a star-studded voiceover cast including the legendary voice of the Daleks Nicholas Briggs, Joe Sugg of Strictly Come Dancing, The Sarah Jane Adventure's Anjli Mohindra and Ayesha Antoine of Holby City.

Briggs expressed his excitement about being a part of the project.

"This latest, fantastic, thrill-packed venture into the world of animation, with the Daleks as the stars of the show, is something so many of us have been craving for years. And for me it's been a marvellous challenge, as usual playing every single Dalek in action, but with the added excitement of portraying some beautifully written, leading Dalek characters. It's been a blast, and I can't wait to see the finished production," Briggs said.

Antoine also pointed out that she was drawn to the project because of the Daleks themselves.

"When I saw that this series was about THOSE iconic villains I knew it was going to be one hell of a ride and I couldn't wait to sign up!! I had so much fun being thrown into the wonderfully weird world of remote recording and so thrilled that I was able to be part of something that feels so special!" she said.

Daleks! has not yet been given an official release date but is set to premiere on the Doctor Who YouTube channel this November. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
