Doctor Who Season 12 Trailer Teases Racnoss, Judoon, and Cybermen's Epic Return

It has been a long excruciating wait but we finally have the first trailer for Doctor Who Series 12. Luckily, it's been worth the wait because we are treated to awesome glimpses at the return of the Judoon, Racnoss, and yes, even Cybermen.

The trailer opens with a shot of the Tardis in the middle of what appears to be a vineyard and Jodie Whittaker doesn't waste any time dropping a new tagline: "The name's Doctor. The Doctor." However, things aren't looking good for the Time Lord and her companions. "The security of this entire planet is at stake," Stephen Fry's character tells her. "Can we rely upon you?"

This is followed by a shot of the Doctor seemingly trapped but she's still feeling confident. "I'm not where I wanted to be but I can work with this," she says.

It isn't long before we get our first glimpse at a helmeted being that we know is a Judoon because he says, "Fro jo po." We don't know what that means, but it's probably not good, especially because there's a Racnoss here as well. On the other hand, there's something else that worries the Doctor.

At one point, she declares that "something's coming for me, I can feel it." (Probably the Cybermen but I could be wrong). However, her companions have her back. "Let it come," Ryan says and Yas supports it by saying, "Coz we're mates." Graham concludes that they're family so hold tight because it's going to be an awesome ride.

The trailer promises plenty of action for the Doctor and we can't wait to see what's going to happen in Season 12.

Doctor Who Season 12 has not yet been given an official premiere date but expect the series to return on BBC by early 2020.
