We're all excited about Ncuti Gatwa's debut as the Fourteenth Doctor in the upcoming regeneration episode of Doctor Who. And while we still don't know much about the new adventures the Time Lord will be taking in the future, Gatwa already has a clear idea of what he wants to happen in the show. The Sex Education actor stated that he wants to go up against co-star Gillian Anderson and that he wants the X-Files actress to be his new show's next big villain!
Ncuti Gatwa recently spoke to RadioTimes where he admitted that he wants to work with Gillian Anderson all over again, but this time, he wants to see her as the bad guy.
"I would love to play opposite Gillian again. I would love for Gillian to come in and be an amazing baddie," Gatwa said. "Like, I'd love to battle with Gillian! That would be a dream!"
We're not surprised that Gatwa is eager to work with Anderson all over again. After all, Anderson is one of the best things about Sex Education and there is little doubt people want to see more of her character Jean Milburn. Needless to say, Anderson would be a welcome addition to Doctor Who in the next year.
For now, it has not yet been confirmed whether Gillian Anderson will be joining Doctor Who. In the meantime, the latest cast addition is Neil Patrick Harris, who will appear in the Doctor Who 60th anniversary special. Harris's role in the series has not yet been revealed but we're hoping it will finally be announced soon.
Ncuti Gatwa is expected to appear in the upcoming Doctor Who special where Jodie Whittaker finally regenerates. Although the special has not yet been given an official release date, the episode is expected to air on BBC in October.
