The Doctor Who Holiday Special may have been emotional considering that the Thirteenth Doctor (and Whovians) had to say goodbye to Graham and Ryan. However, Revolution of the Daleks also concluded with an awesome tease towards the future as it introduced John Bishop as the new Doctor's Companion.
In the final moments of Revolution of the Daleks, a man is shown loading items into a truck while another man reads him his horoscope. Interestingly, his horoscope points him toward the number 13, the color blue, and lots of surprises. Although the man's face is initially concealed, it is eventually revealed as Bishop smiles at his friend. Check it out below.
It's an awesome introduction to the new Companion who will be introduced in Doctor Who Series 13. Although it is disappointing to know that Graham and Ryan will not be back in the next season, it's still great to know that Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill's Yaz will be getting hilarious company soon.
It was previously confirmed that the Doctor Who New Year Special would be the final appearance of Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole as Graham and Ryan, respectively. Whittaker even admitted that she was distraught after filming their last scene together. Nevertheless, we're looking forward to Bishop joining the show.
Doctor Who Season 13 has not yet been given an official release date. However, it has been confirmed to be significantly shorter than previous seasons with only eight new episodes due to COVID-19. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
