Any fan of action films can tell you that Scott Adkins is one of those actors who can easily take on any role. After all, the martial artist has already made a name for himself in the Undisputed movies. But what are the chances that Adkins could take on the role of Kraven the Hunter in the Sony Marvel flicks? The Doctor Strange star has just pointed out that he is very keen to play the comic book hero.

Adkins recently spoke to ComicBookMovie where he admitted that he somehow regrets playing Lucian in the Benedict Cumberbatch movie.

"You know what, honestly, I wish I hadn't played that part. To be honest with you, I feel like, in hindsight, I probably should have waited for something better," Adkins said.

But which role exactly did he want to wait for? Adkins confessed that he is "a massive Marvel comic book fan, especially Spider-Man" and that he is hoping to portray a character who goes up against the web-slinger.

"I'd play Kraven the Hunter, apparently. With Yuri Boyka, there's a lot of Kraven going on in that guy. I mean, I'll pull that one off no problem. Come on," Adkins said. However, he was also quick to point out that it's probably best not to say anything in case the casting gets jinxed.

"But I'll tell you how you get a part; you never publicly state that you want it. Because then you'll never get it. So I'm not playing with that. Headline: Scott Adkins doesn't want it," he said.

Adkins may not want to admit it but there is little doubt he'd make an awesome Kraven. Let's just hope that Sony agrees with the casting.
