Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness Reveals New Sorcerer Supreme Suit

There is little doubt that something strange is happening in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Interestingly, that would include a completely new look for the Sorcerer Supreme. New promo art for the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel has confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch will be wearing a different suit this year. In addition to that, we have a better glimpse at Mordo's new look in the film!

The promo art for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is actually part of action figures that will be released for the MCU sequel. Interestingly, the boxes also confirm that Stephen Strange and Karl Mordo will have new titles in the movie.

"Defender Strange" certainly looks different and the revelation has proven to be intriguing to fans. Is this a new suit for the Sorcerer Supreme or are we looking at one of his Variants? Could this also mean that there is a new team called Defenders being introduced in the MCU flick? Or are we finally seeing a version of Strange Supreme?

We have a lot of questions but it's pretty clear that this isn't the Evil Strange that we already saw in the Doctor Strange 2 trailer. We have yet to learn more about the new Stranges that will appear in the Multiverse of Madness but we could be getting some details soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

We're also loving a clearer look at Mordo, who will now be known as Master Mordo. Again, there is a possibility that this Mordo is a Variant of the one who already exists in the MCU. Hopefully, we'll find out more about Chiwetel Ejiofor's character very soon.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will also star Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, and Xochitl Gomez. The film is scheduled for release on May 6, 2022.
