Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Could Introduce Clea to the MCU

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is looking to be one of the crazier installments in the MCU if reports of Miss America's introduction are to be believed. This opens up plenty of possibilities for more Marvel characters to debut and it would make some form of sense since a multiverse is about to be introduced. Now, a new report from The Illuminerdi has said that one classic Doctor Strange character is set to debut; Clea.

Apparently, some of the casting details reveal that this movie is looking for a leading lady-type character and if they're expected to hang with Strange, we can only assume that this character is Clea. The character is Strange's most prominent love interest and we would be pretty happy to see her in the MCU.

With previous reports also claiming that Brother Voodoo could be coming to the movie as well, along with the supposed appearance of Scarlet Witch post-WandaVision, it's clear that this film will explore the mystic side of the MCU. It's something that has been done in the comics before, as recent comics have had Strange form a group with Scarlet Witch, Magik, Hellstrom, and other magic users.

Honestly, fans should still take this with a grain of salt since nothing is official yet. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness recently lost its director Scott Derrickson, who is staying on as an executive producer, with Marvel still looking for a replacement. Despite this, the film is expected to keep its production schedule.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is coming out on May 7, 2021.
