Doctor Strange 2: Red Smoke in Kamar Taj is Wanda’s Chaos Magic [THEORY]

The Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness is set to break the record for having the most cameos in the history of MCU. The film will also focus on Doctor Strange’s journey to the Multiverse together with The Scarlett Witch, Wanda Maximoff. However, speculations arose and claim that Wanda will be the main villain for the Doctor Strange sequel.

We saw what a distressed Wanda can do specifically after the events of Wandavision where she performed an illusion to the whole community of Westview and controlled them throughout the series. At the finale of the Wandavision, Wanda was finally forged into her Marvel Comics reference, The Scarlett Witch.

The Scarlett Witch in the Comics is very powerful and no one can match her. Her powers are really vast that she almost wiped out all the mutants in the world in an instant. As Wanda’s involvement in the MCU features a more grounded character compared to the Comics, seems like we will witness a more developed Wanda in the Multiverse of Madness as The Scarlett Witch herself but not as a hero, but as a villain.

Teased from the recent trailers, looks like Wanda is losing her mind and completely being controlled by the Darkhold. Plot leaks claim that Wanda wants to reunite with her children in the other universe. To do so, she has to travel to that Universe but was only able to travel through astral projection, and that is why she is hunting America Chavez who was being protected at the Kamar Taj, an ancient location where the sorcerers are living and the original home of Doctor Strange. America Chavez can create portals to different universes and Wanda wants to use her to get to her kids.

In the recently dropped trailer, we saw a red smoke, which is rumored to be Wanda’s power. Plot leaks reveal that Wanda will hunt down Chavez in Kamar Taj and will be going on a killing spree, almost wiping out the place completely.

While these theories remain a mystery, we all know that Wanda’s ability manifests a red force, that ables her to do telekinesis and blast energy force. So it seems it's obvious that Wanda is attacking the location.

Now that Wanda finally developed into the Scarlett Witch, she is now a very dangerous villain if ever these rumors are true. We can confirm if Wanda is the main big villain when Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness hit the big screens on May 6.
