Akari is the main female protagonist of the romantic comedy anime titled More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers. She is a gyaru who gets paired with Jirou for a couple training course.
The couple training course is a practical organized by the school to train the students to become better partners when they get married.
Akari’s main aim is to partner up with Minami Tenjin, who is her ultimate crush. She is ready to do anything to become his partner in this mock marriage training.
Being a gyaru, Akari appears rude in the beginning but she softens as the series progresses.
On the other hand, Jirou is the main male lead of More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers. He is Akari’s partner but his heart wants him to be with his childhood friend named Shiori Sakurazaka.
