DKZ Jaechan frightened the viewers recently with a story about his stalking experience.
DKZ Jaechan and other K-pop idols experienced alarming interactions with sasaeng fans. They are infamous for the ill-treatment toward their idols by showing their love to an extreme level.
After starring in Semantic Error, Jaechan saw rising popularity, but it also caused him to face a similar issue recently.
DKZ Jaechan Details Recent Stalking Experience
During the July 21 episode of the MBC show Midnight Horror Story, the DKZ member shared an alarming stalking experience he had recently.
He listened to one university student who opened up about extreme distress because of a creepy stalker. The student was then forced to take time off from school.
Comedian Kim Sook read the story of the student, saying:
"I found a note on my front door one day. I thought it was some sort of official notice by the apartment complex at first, but... It said, 'I know you are at home today. I'm going to just go today, but please open the door for me when I come again tomorrow.' That note really bothered me, and I got scared. So, I moved soon after."
Jaechan responded by saying that he had a similar experience recently and that it scared him to death.

He recalled wrapping up his practice at the studio months ago. When he looked at his phone while leaving the place, he saw three to four missed calls from an unknown number.
It prompted him to call the number back but his call did not go through. With that, he decided to walk home instead.
While pressing the password of his home and got inside. The same number called again, and he found out that the caller was a female who told him “You’re finally home now, aren’t you?”
Kim Gu Ra commented on the incident, saying that the woman might be one of his obsessed fans.
Most Cowardly Member of DKZ Revealed
During the same appearance, he revealed that he is the most cowardly member of his idol group.
He gave the viewers an example by noting how he always feels like something would come out under his bed after watching something scary. One bed at DKZ’s dorm does not have space underneath, revealing that he bought it himself.
Jaechan debuted with DKZ — formerly known as DONGKIZ — in 2018.
