Square Enix has revealed the latest DLC character for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT and fans are going to be very about it. Yuna from Final Fantasy X fame will be joining the game's roster this December, using her magic skills against some of the game's fancy heroes. It's really cool having more characters like this and fans who have wanted to reunite her with Tidus can now do so.
Yuna looks to specialize in long-range combat, which makes sense since she is a magic user. The summoner also has the ability to, well, summon a creature for help during combat. Sadly, this one monster seems to be the only one that can be summoned but it does make her unique when compared to the other fighters.
Here is the official description for the character:
Yuna utilizes an impressive array of magic abilities on the field and can summon Valefor to aid her in battle. A trustworthy companion, Valefor attacks or defends depending on Yuna's status. In Final Fantasy X, she is the daughter of a High Summoner. While shouldering the expectations everyone has of her, she becomes a summoner and embarks on a pilgrimage with Tidus and her other guardians.
It's also worth noting that Square Enix is releasing a free-to-play version of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, though it seems to be Japanese-exclusive for the moment. There is also a brand-new Mission Mode coming to the game, which is great for those that wanted to do more things aside from Story Mode or online play.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
