Disney+'s She-Hulk Aiming for a July Production Start

Though the show was announced outside of Marvel Phase 4, it looks like Disney+'s She-Hulk is going to proceed faster than expected. As it turns out, the show could actually start shooting this summer.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, She-Hulk is currently aiming to start rolling cameras this coming July in Atlanta. While we don't have a main actress yet, it's been said that the search had begun sometime late last year. With a production start date coming so soon, I can't help but think that She-Hulk might actually hit Disney+ next year.

Besides She-Hulk, Disney+ has also moved forward with the Ms. Marvel series. It was said that the show was going to start shooting sometime later this year, but production had been pushed forward by several months to April. Hopefully, we get an announcement on the MCU's Kamala Khan soon.

As for She-Hulk, we don't know what kind of story to expect, but I'm sure it's going to require a lot of CG. Just like the Hulk in Endgame, She-Hulk a.k.a. Jennifer Walters prefers to be green 24/7, so every shot with her is going to cost money. Then again, since this is an origin series, maybe we can have her flit in and out of the green state for the show—until she finally decides to stay green for good. With the show said to have a budget of a Marvel solo film, maybe we can have a good handful of scenes where Jennifer goes full Hulk.

Then again, that's just my speculation. Hopefully, Marvel gives us an official announcement soon.

No release date has been set for She-Hulk yet, but the first Disney+ Marvel show, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, comes out this fall.
