Although some Star Wars fans have already got the entire timeline of the franchise basically memorized in their sleep, some people are just starting to join the fandom and some might not quite remember all the films and series and how they exactly correlate with one another. With the seventh season of The Clone Wars premiering on Disney+ in just a few days, the streaming service offers a handy timeline for those who need to have a little refresher.
Taking to Twitter, Disney+ shares a breakdown of the Star Wars timeline to show where The Clone Wars takes place. The nine movies of the Skywalker Saga from The Phantom Menace to The Rise of Skywalker can be seen on the bottom row. While all the live-action shows, animated series, and spin-off films are placed on top. As seen in the timeline, The Clone Wars is set between the Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
The timeline also notes that all the projects seen in it are yet to be available on the streaming platform. Solo: A Star Wars Story and The Rise of Skywalker should be making its way to Disney+ very soon. The spin-off film is said to arrive in July while the release of Episode IX on the streaming service hasn't been revealed yet, the movie is still in selected theaters, too.
On another note, The Mandalorian has also been successful, along with its popular character, The Child. The second season is set to premiere in October of this year, so look out for that as well.
For those who need it, hopefully, the timeline would be helpful before heading on to watch season seven of The Clone Wars to premiere this Friday.
