One week before the release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Disney+ added an essential addition to the Marvel library ahead of the premiere of the film and they line up an Iron Man 3 short which will be pivotal for one returning character, the red herring, Trevor Slattery in his very own one-shot, All Hail the King.

The short one-shot All Hail the King was written and directed by the co-writer of Iron Man 3, Drew Pearce, which features Trevor Slattery portrayed by Sir Ben Kingsley following the events of the 2013 film wherein the faux villain was locked up in Seagate Prison, being a celebrity and all, after it was discovered that he is not the real Mandarin.

In the short, Trevor Slattery gets interviewed by Jackson Norris, a documentarian played by Scoot McNairy, and he answers questions about whether or not he is a real agent of the terrorist group known as the Ten Rings and if there could be any chance that he would be breaking out of jail to make a connection to the real Mandarin or be punished for using his name.

In the red carpet event of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,Sir Ben Kingsley made an appearance and confirmed that he will be reprising his role in the upcoming MCU and he shared, "As you just saw, I was talking to [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige, and thanks to Kevin and Robert Downey Jr. and Drew Pearce and [Iron Man 3 director] Shane Black, I am in this movie and I'm a member of the Marvel family because their welcome on Iron Man 3 was so astonishing and generous that I'm still with Marvel again. And I'm delighted to be here!"
