It looks like Disney still hasn't gotten over remaking its classic animated movies, because the Mickey Mouse House has just ordered a brand new live-action remake of its beloved animated movie, Bambi.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news today, announcing ghta Disney has officially ordered a brand new live-action adaptation of Bambi.

The Mickey Mouse House wants the movie to look like what Jon Favreau's done for The Jungle Book and The Lion King where in computer animated graphics and motion capture where used to create realistic renditions of key characters of these movies. There isn't that much news about this new announcement just yet. We don't know who's going to be the director of this new Bambi live-action remake, though we do suspect that Iron Man director Jon Favreau may have to do something with the project.

This Bambi live-action remake is just one of the latest reboots that Disney's made to its classic films. There's The Junglebook, Cinderella, Dumbo, lladine, The Lion King, and so many, many other more. Disney fans might be tired of seeing the Mickey Mouse House remaking its old movies, however, the studio relies on the fact that classics like The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast bring a whole lot of money to the doorway.

The Lion King managed to rake in 1.65 billion USD during its premiere while Beauty and the Beast managed to bring in 1.26 billion at the box office.
