Did Star Wars Resistance Reveal the Location of Luke's Abandoned Jedi Temple?

The Knights of Ren remain to be one of the biggest mysteries that were introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and hopefully, their arc gets finished with Episode IX. With the Knights having something to do with the massacre of Luke's Jedi academy, it's likely that Star Wars Resistance has made a huge reveal with their latest episode.

According to Star Wars Explained on Youtube, it's possible that we've seen the planet where Luke actually tried to start his Jedi temple only to be thwarted by Kylo Ren and his Knights. Check it out:

Of course, it's likely that the planet is just a different one that has been decimated by the First Order. After all, there were several other planets that looked to be proto-Starkiller bases, having been destroyed as if the First Order was trying to perfect their method in weaponizing an entire planet.

I think, however, that it would be cool to give us some more lore for the sequel trilogy. It's possible that there won't be enough time for Episode IX to cover every question we want answered, and that's where the expanded universe comes in. It's not like the location of Luke's Jedi temple will have any more importance in the future… or will it?

For now, everyone is waiting on the first teaser for Episode IX to drop, and it's likely we have to wait until April to get it. Let's hope Lucasfilm has other things to get us hyped about. What about Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian?
