Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber had split in half in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and everyone is suspecting that it will get fixed by Rey come Episode IX. While details about the movie have been kept in serious wraps, some merch has possibly revealed to us the look of Rey's fixed lightsaber.

As you can see, the blade on the saber is a bit more erratic, and it pretty much looks like Kylo's crossguard saber. It would make sense since Rey would have to repair her weapon from scratch, so it's likely that it would behave that way. I guess I'm just kind of bummed that we won't get the traditional ‘clean' saber if this is the case.
Some were hoping that Rey would fashion the Skywalker lightsaber into a double-bladed one like Darth Maul's, but maybe they're saving that reveal for the movie itself. Maybe she made two lightsabers out of the original kyber? There are a lot of different options that we can consider.
For now, everyone is expecting a huge Episode IX reveal at Star Wars Celebration this April. Lucasfilm is being very careful about properly building the hype, and it looks like the title reveal is going to come alongside the trailer drop—just like with Avengers: Endgame. Let's just hope fans can keep themselves together for the whole March until April finally arrives.
