Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley) has returned to our TV screens for the fourth season of You. With this season, however, Netflix decided to split the show into two parts. The first one came out last February 9, 2023 and the second part will be available on March 9, 2023.

In You Season 4, Joe is turning a new leaf and starting over in London, away from the people from his past. But even though he may have assumed a new identity and job (hello, Professor Jonathan Moore), it seems like bad things keep getting drawn to him like a magnet. After a crazy night out with his new elite friends, he discovers his neighbor/associate has died on his dining table with a dagger to his heart. At first, Joe can't help but think his intoxicated self managed to kill someone. But when he starts receiving an anonymous text about the murder, he realizes there is someone out there taunting him.

And with You Season 4 Part 1 having only five episodes, we can't help but wonder who else dies in the show and if Joe actually kills anyone in this season. Let's name all the murders in this season. Before we proceed, we must warn you that this post contains heavy spoilers.

Malcolm

The first character to die in this season is Malcolm (played by Stephen Hagan), Joe's colleague/neighbor.

After a drunken night at the Sundry House, Joe wakes up to find Malcolm on his dining table with a knife in his chest and a missing finger. Even though he isn't entirely sure he was the killer, he decides to dismember the body and dumb it in the River Thames.

The next person to die in You Season 4 Part 1 is Simon Soo (played by Aidan Cheng), who died with a knife stabbed into his chest and a missing ear. Simon was killed on the night of his art show opening as Joe waits for him outside the gallery to confront him about exploiting the artwork of his assistants.

However, Joe falls asleep on a bench and wakes up to police cars arriving at the location.

Vic

Joe manages to kill Vic (played by Sean Pertwee), the driver/dealer/bodyguard of Lady Phoebe (played by Tilly Keeper), in a crypt where Malcolm's finger is stored. Vic follows Joe around after suspecting him of killing Malcolm. But Joe is able to fight back and kill him by strangling him. He then drags out his body and dumps him on top of Simon's grave before burying him.

It's actually surprising that Joe only killed one person in this season, suggesting that he has changed like he told Marienne (played by Tati Gabrielle). But who knows, maybe Joe's record of murders will increase in the second part of You Season 4.

At Lady Phoebe's Hampsie estate, Joe discovers Kate standing over the dead body of Gemma (played by Eve Austin) with a knife on her hand. But as Joe learns, Kate didn't kill Gemma. He decides to help Kate by rolling Gemma's body in a rug and hide her in a chest underneath the bed. Later in the season, Lady Phoebe finds the dead body.

Since there are only five episodes in You Season 4 Part 1, that's all the murder victims so far. It's possible that more people will be added to the list when the show returns for part two. But who will be next to die?
