Details on the Han Solo Content Coming to Star Wars Battlefront II

With the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story comes the Han Solo Season for Star Wars Battlefront II. EA has announced the new things that are coming to the game, including a new map, some new skins, and a new arcade mode.

As per the official site, Jabba's Palace is going to be a playable map. We don't know if it will be the exact same map from the first Battlefront, but I'm sure the players who missed out on that game will be happy to have it here.

A new mode will also be introduced in the season called Hero Showdown, which plays pretty much like Overwatch's lockout elimination mode. The game will be 2v2, and is round based. If you die, you have to wait for your partner to win or lose the round. If you win, you have to pick another duo for the next round, but if you lose, you can use the same characters.

Offline enthusiasts will be happy to know that Starfighter mode is now available in the custom arcade, and Lando and Leia are also getting their Jabba's Palace disguises.

For more information on the event, you can check the Reddit post. This includes details to the new menu as well as some different layouts for the game.

The Han Solo Season starts May 16. Star Wars Battlefront II is now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
