Destiny Skips Crimson Days for New Balance Update

Before you start preparing for a good date night playing Destiny, developer Bungie has already confirmed that it will be skipping the Valentine's Day update, Crimson Days this year.

In the latest blog update, Bungie announced that it will be putting its efforts in other things for players instead of updating Crimson Days.

One of the updates that Bungie is ready Guardians for involves the work from the Live Team via a new content update. There are no release dates or full details yet, but the developer has reassured that there will be the mandatory streaming to get players acquainted with the changes leading to its launch. The only known detail about that is the next content update may arrive sometime in springtime.

In the cards and in a little more detail is the planned Balance update for some weapons. Again, no details or patch notes were announced, but one reassurance is that the balance takes into consideration the little steps that can improve Destiny overall.

"Work has continued to refine player-versus-player combat in Destiny. Our current goal is to deliver a patch that will change up the meta before you have a renewed call to arms. That's a forecast more than a promise, but that's how things go when you're working in a world built from ones and zeroes. Testing and investigation are ongoing, which means that we're closing in on a fresh solution."

More details are expected as the content update and balances are released. As usual, it will come with the developer commentaries and a lot of data for the discerning Destiny players.
