People can't stop talking about the first episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2's Entertainment District arc. After all, it finally introduced Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira who will work with Tanjiro Kamado and his companions in the new story arc. To celebrate the start of a new chapter, voice actor Katsuyuki Konishi shared an awesome message for fans and it's the perfect way to welcome the character into the anime.

Katsuyuki Konishi previously played Tengen Uzui in the first season of Demon Slayer. Although his character only appeared briefly, it was clear that he is the most flamboyant Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. So it's no surprise that Katsuyuki is staying true to his character with an exciting message for fans.

"Entertainment District finally begins flamboyantly," Katsuyuki wrote. It's a message that even Uzui would be proud of.

Uzui's entrance in Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 8 was a huge surprise for Tanjiro when he returns to the Butterfly Estate. It is revealed that he is trying to take Aoi and Naho along with him on a mission when Kanao tries to stop him. Tanjiro steps in, offering to join Uzui along with Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. The Sound Hashira finally agrees to take them instead.

The first episode didn't immediately bring us into the Yoshiwara red-light district but it did provide the perfect closure for the Mugen Train arc. In addition to that, fans got to catch up with Muzan Kibutsuji who punished Akaza for not finding the Blue Spider Lily and failing to kill the other Demon Slayers onboard the Mugen Train.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 9 is titled Infiltrating the Entertainment District ("Yukaku Sen'nyu") and is the second episode in the Yukaku-hen story arc. The new episode will air on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 11:15 PM JST.
