It is assumed that the deleted scene was supposed to be featured in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie - Mugen Train but was ultimately deleted to maintain its pace. However, it might also be important to the next story arc.

So what will happen in the Episode 7 deleted scene? Is it connected to Rengoku or will it tease the events after the Mugen Train arc? There is a possibility that it's a little bit of both.

It is believed that the deleted scene takes place right after Rengoku's fight with Akaza. Tanjiro Kamado could pay his respects to Rengoku's family and visit their estate. It is here that Tanjiro could learn something new about his own family's Hinokami Kagura.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 7 is the final episode in the Mugen Train arc. The episode is titled Set Your Heart Ablaze ("Kokoro o Moyase") and will air on FujiTV on November 28, 2021, at 11:15 PM JST.
