Demon Slayer Season 2: Entertainment District Arc Episode Count Revealed

The sixth episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is finally out which means the Mugen Train arc is down to its final episode next week. But what can we expect when the Entertainment District arc kicks off this December? The episode count for the next story arc may have finally been revealed.

We already know that Demon Slayer Season 2 is going to adapt the manga's Entertainment District arc. Although fans were initially expecting the second season to immediately begin with the Demon Slayer Corps heading for the Yoshiwara red-light district, the first seven episodes covered the Mugen Train arc.

So will the Entertainment District arc last longer than the Mugen Train arc? Several reports have confirmed that the next story arc will be spread out over 11 episodes. That might be longer than the previous arc but the news also has fans concerned that Demon Slayer Season 2 will be a short one.

The first season lasted for 26 episodes and if Season 2 will only adapt two arcs, it would only be about 18 or 19 episodes. On the other hand, there is hope that we have only been informed about the first cours and that the second cours will cover the manga's next chapters following the Upper Rank demons.

For now, there hasn't been any update on Demon Slayer Season 2's full episode count. However, there is a possibility that the second season could be longer than Season 1 and hopefully adapt more story arcs. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The next episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is the last one for the Mugen Train arc. Episode 7 is titled Set Your Heart Ablaze ("Kokoro o Moyase") and will air on FujiTV on November 28, 2021, at 11:15 PM JST.
