Demon Slayer Season 2 Final Episode Longer Running Time, New Details Revealed

There is little doubt that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 is soon coming to an end as the Entertainment District arc is now drawing to a close. But what can we expect in the Yukaku-hen finale this February? A new leak confirms that the final episode will be longer than its predecessors and the season finale could feature a tease at the next story arc!

Fans have discovered FujiTV's schedule for Sunday, February 13, 2022. Interestingly, it confirms that Demon Slayer Season 2 is getting a longer timeslot, extending 15 minutes to end at 12:00 AM. This means that the season finale will be 45 minutes long.

That's certainly a lot longer than previous episodes which are usually between 20 to 25 minutes long. With that in mind, the Demon Slayer Season 2 is set to be explosive and emotional as we finally get to see if the heroes will defeat Daki and Gyutaro.

So what can we expect in the final episode of Demon Slayer Season 2? It is believed that the finale will feature a meeting between the Upper Rank demons with Muzan Kibutsuji as they discuss what happened at the Yoshiwara red-light district. If this is so, the next story arc in the manga could be teased and some events in the Entertainment District arc could be adapted in Season 3 instead.

We will still need to wait two more weeks before the season finale so there are other more urgent things to be concerned about. For instance, the latest episode of Demon Slayer Season 2 saw Inosuke Hashibira and Tengen Uzui suffering major injuries. Will they survive and make it to the end?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 17 is titled Never Give Up ("Zettai Akiramenai") which refers to Chapter 93 of the original manga. Yukaku-hen Episode 10 will premiere on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 11:15 PM JST.
