Rengoku, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are all caught up in Enmu's trap and still asleep. The most recent episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 shows the Demon Slayers stuck inside their dreams but are currently trying to get out.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 will follow the Mugen Train arc before launching completely new episodes for the Entertainment District arc. The Entertainment District arc is set to premiere on December 5, 2021.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
Everyone is asleep on the Mugen Train. The kids under Enmu's command are tied up to the Demon Slayers and are currently looking for their spiritual cores so that they can destroy them. In Zenitsu's dream, he's spending time with Nezuko, and they're enjoying themselves. For Inosuke's dream, he's the leader of a cave exploration team while Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Zenitsu are his underlings.
Rengoku's dream shows that he's at his family home, telling his dad that he's become a Hashira. We get a glimpse into Rengoku's past, whose father was once a swordsman. His father says that him becoming a Hashira doesn't really matter. Rengoku's younger brother, Senjuro, asks him what his father thinks about the news. He says that despite their father's reaction, he's sure that Senjuro will grow up to be a fine person, no matter what path he takes. The kid inside Rengoku's dream successfully finds his spiritual core, but before she gets to destroy it, Rengoku attacks her in the real world.
Tanjiro is enjoying his time with his family, but he's getting confused with some of the things that he's saying. The real world is slowly catching up to him, but he is still unable to get out of his dream. While gathering water, his reflection tells him to wake up and that they're being attacked. On the Mugen Train, Nezuko comes out of her box and sees that everyone is asleep. She tries to wake Tanjiro up and succeeds after hitting his head with hers. Tanjiro finally snaps out of it and is now looking for the demon's scent in his dream. He's running around the mountains, figuring out how to return to reality. Tanjiro's father appears, saying that he has to cut something. Tanjiro then decides that he must cut his neck in order to wake up.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 4 will be out on November 7, 2021. There is a one-week delay in the broadcast due to a special election in Japan.
