Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12 Broadcast To Be Delayed

There is little doubt that fans are already hyped up for next week's episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2. However, it looks like we will once again have to wait a little bit longer for Episode 12. It has been confirmed that Yukaku-hen Episode 5 will experience a short broadcast delay next Sunday!

The official Demon Slayer Twitter account has revealed the next episode's key visual along with the official title and release date. Although the fifth episode of the Entertainment District arc is still set to premiere on January 2, it will be pushed back to a later timeslot at 11:30 PM.

But why will Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12 get delayed by 15 minutes? FujiTV is pushing the air time back in favor of a special event being covered by the network. However, fans can rest assured that the episode will only be delayed slightly.

This isn't the first episode of Demon Slayer Season 2 that is being delayed due to special broadcasting events on FujiTV. The fourth episode of the Mugen Train arc was pushed back a full week in November and this week's episode was delayed 15 minutes. Luckily, these are just minor delays that haven't affected the anime that much.

There's a good reason why fans are eager to watch Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 12 as soon as possible. This week's episode already showed the start of the epic showdown between Tanjiro and the Upper Rank 6 demon Daki. With that in mind, the fight will be in full swing next week.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 12 will be titled Things Are Gonna Get Real Flashy!! ("Dohade ni Ikuze!!"). The fifth episode of Yukaku-hen will air on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 11:30 PM JST.
